What makes Sac Spine different from other clinics?
Well, if you haven't figured it out by now, we are very customer service oriented. We specialize in the spine. The atmosphere at both of our locations is very laid back, but at the same time progressive because of our emphasis on teaching patients self care. We reserve each appointment time individually rather than double/triple book. All of our staff members are trained extensively in post-graduate spine care
How can I come to Sacramento Spine?
Patients are able to directly access the services of a Physical Therapist without referral from a doctor, however, most insurers require the initial referral from a doctor to pay for services. We are preferred providers for nearly all of the PPO plans, Workers' Compensation, and Medicare. Our only limitations are managed care programs. If you are unsure about your coverage, please email us and we will verify your coverage for you. What should I wear for my appointments?
Loose comfortable clothes that you will be able to move around in easily are the best. Closed toe (tennis) shoes are preferable because we may take you onto the fitness floor for exercise and they are safer.
Who will I be seeing?
The first several appointments are always with one of our Registered Physical Therapists. On subsequent appointments, you will be assigned to either that same therapist or one of the highly skilled support staff that is comprised of Physical Therapist Assistants, Athletic Trainers, or physical therapy aides.
Is in there anything I need to bring? (FORMS)
If your insurance is paying, please bring a copy of your card. If you have any X-ray, MRI, or other reports it would be good to bring those. Click on the links below and you will be able to download the necessary forms that you can fill out and bring to your appointment:
What insurances do you accept?
At Sacramento Spine, we initially chose not to contract with any HMO/managed care insurances. However, in the course of 10 years, we have found a few that we feel will allow us to see their members for the length of time that will affect a positive outcome. They are: Sutter HMO in the Folsom clinic and Pacificare HMO at both Roseville and Folsom.
In addition to the aforementioned, we are providers for Champus, Medicare, and the following PPO’s: Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Pacificare, UnitedHealthCare, Aetna, HealthNet, UFCW/Valley Clerks, CCN, FirstHealth, PHCS, OneHealthPlan/Greatwest, and many others.
We also work with numerous local attorneys on personal injury lien cases.
